Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer with robust experience in both front-end and back-end development, and proficient in WordPress and Shopify platforms. This role involves creating comprehensive, efficient, and user-friendly websites that meet our clients’ needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PHP programming, along with extensive experience in WordPress and Shopify to manage and customize websites effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve websites using PHP, with a strong focus on both front-end and back-end development.
- Develop, Customize and manage WordPress and Shopify sites, including theme and plugin customization, and e-commerce integration.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code that complies with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with UX Designer to match visual design intent and ensure responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
- Implement security measures and data protection settings to safeguard website data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PHP development, WordPress, and Shopify.
- Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in PHP, WordPress, and Shopify development.
- Provide technical support and instruction to team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in PHP development with a solid understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong proficiency in WordPress and Shopify, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Experience with SQL/MySQL databases and their declarative query languages.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and web development best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
